A video of her award snub titled CHICA TORPE CASI ARROLLADA EN LA SAN FELIPE 250 (AWKWARD GIRL ALMOST ROLLED AT SAN FELIPE 250) was captured by user Peteerboe. The video shared above shows a her, posing for a picture on the race course of the SCORE International San Felipe 250 off-road race only seconds before a Trophy Truck comes charging by.

For some odd reason this woman and the man taking the photo thought it would be a great idea to snap a photo as a 850 horsepower Trophy Truck passed by her just inches away. The Trophy Truck came so close it nearly hit her as it raced by at an unknown speed. However, having covered and participated in these races for decades, we can bet the truck was running close to 100 MPH, and what’s even crazier is that even after almost being struck by the passing trace truck, the women can be heard laughing on the video.

Luckily, thanks to excellent driving skills on the driver’s part, an incident was averted and no one was hurt. However, people’s stupidity like this is the reason why some future events such as the Imperial Valley 250 will have designated spectator areas preventing all racing fans from getting up close to the action. We will admit that the women’s stupidity must have made one hell of a picture. However, no matter how cool the photo was, we don’t think it’s worth possibly losing your life over. Other than this incident, as far as eek know, the 2014 SCORE season opener went off without a hitch.

There was plenty of sane action at the 2014 SCORE San Felipe 250.
