VIDEO: Warfighter Made And Magnuson Hook Up A Veteran With A JK

The men and women that serve our Country give a great deal for the rest of us. No matter what happens while they are in any branch of service, they are changed forever. Unfortunately, sometimes those changes are very dramatic physical, mental, or emotional pains.

Nick Kimmel served roughly six-years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring at a young age as a Sergeant. Kimmel is a triple amputee and when the guys at Warfighter Made saw him at a Lucas Oil race in Lake Elsinore, California, they immediately talked to him. They discovered he had a 2012 Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited and wanted to help him build it beyond what he had already done.

Robert of Warfighter Made asked Kimmel if he was interested in dropping a Magnuson Supercharger on the 3.6-liter V6, Nick was definitely in! The team over at Magnuson was immediately on board and “all in,” as Thomas from Magnuson puts it.

Matt Hately, who is part of the Magnuson Marketing Department mentioned that he and the other Magnuson Executives were honored that Warfighter Made chose them to help, “we love getting involved,” says Hately. The Warfighter Made guys had Kimmel come down to the Magnuson facility with his Jeep and the whole team worked together to install the new supercharger. The Magnuson team was excited to work side by side with the veterans and help them with their cause.

Warfighter Made is a non-profit that is specifically designed to help wounded warriors readjust to being home and coping with their injuries, both visible and not. Kimmel mentioned, “To be able to get back and do stuff I did before I was injured, it really helps.”
