There’s a reason why this Australian-made Patriot Camper X1 has won the “Off-Road Camper Trailer of the Year” for the past three years including for 2016. Check out this insane little unit that is capable of packing everything for any off-road adventure and can haul those toys with ease.

This off-road capable trailer is loaded with features and is completely customizable.

A few changes have been made to Patriot Camper X1 for 2016. Being 840 kilos and 3.2 meters long, this traveling camper is super compact and can be towed pretty much anywhere with its aggressive stance and “ultimate off-road ability.”

For 2016, laser-cut decals have been added to the exterior and is now offered in a Limited Edition package available in three colors perfect for picking one that best suits the tow vehicle.

The chassis of the trailer is another big change for this year. It is completely laser cut, interlocked, fully welded and given a hot dip coating. The track has been widened and the trailer has been lowered to give it a 30 percent reduction with center of gravity.

It also features independent trailing arm suspension, dual shocks on both sides, and 10-inch electric brakes. The rear features dual tow points and a hitch receiver among other things, while the exterior also features ROH alloy wheels and optional 33-inch mud terrain tires. Most of the weight is in the chassis with the body being laser cut and lightweight.

A swing out spare tire carrier is also an option on the trailer.

The best thing about the camper is how versatile it is and how it can be used for all kinds of camping and outdoor adventures. They said goodbye to the rooftop tent, but in its place they have added a fully integrated tent that is one of the fastest to set up in the market. In the video, it took 2.5 minutes to set up completely.

The trailer has a full stainless steel kitchen.

It also comes available with a kids room addition to the tent that was set up in about 4 minutes. It now has  a new awning that is set up in about two minutes. That is a full setup transformed in under 10 minutes.

This Patriot X1 also features one heck of a compact kitchen with stainless steel bench tops with plenty of working area and storage. Everything slides out such as fridge, double stove top which also features a stove wind break.

A control center is easy to use with all switches located in one area whether it is air bag system, fuel gauge, LEDs, fridge switch, water level indicator, and blue tooth stereo. External volt charge point is also available. The front box is quite the man cave that stores a new swing-away BBQ that comes with its own separate awning.

A king-sized bed fits in the Patriot X1 with a high-density foam mattress that is well ventilated under the tent complete with a star-gazer roof. The bed simply folds out of the way when not in use, and there is insane storage throughout.
