Walking down busy city streets, you’ve undoubtedly seen a street performer or two in your life. They’re all over the Las Vegas Strip and pretty much everywhere else where a generous number of passer-byers might drop their change in an upturned hat or coffee can. Most of these folks dress up in costume but none may be quite as genius as the one seen in the video above. Thanks to Car Buzz for tipping us off to this hysterical find.
Since the first Transformers movie came out, we’ve seen an influx in Transformers gear, from T-shirts and posters, to Autobot and Decepticon logos for your vehicle. But nothing screams Transformers quite like the real thing; well, at least as close to the real thing as one creative individual has come up with.
Spotted in Ann Arbor, Michigan, this Transformer isn’t one from the movie franchise, but rather an interesting take on a Hummer transformer. Realistic in every aspect, minus its small size, this transformer costume is even powered, allowing the person in the suit to “drive” around for entertainment value.
According to the performer’s Facebook page, noted in the video’s description, the unique costume was made in New Orleans by Joslyn Alana Paige (the performer) and her friend Jason Beck, and has been used in a number of street performances around the country.
The upcoming Transformers movie may or may not be on your list to see, but this unique transformer is certainly worth a look.
What will we see next? A full-size version? Or maybe a Hummer transformer that can go off road like the initial models were meant to do?
