Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be behind the wheel of a winning 4400 Unlimited Class rig? Well thanks to LetzRoll Offroad Racing you can now see exactly what it’s like for yourself. So strap on your seat belts and enjoy the ride as driver Andrew McLaughlin and co-driver Matt Salyers take you for a first-place run at the 2014 Dirt Riot Southwest season opener in the video above.
Kicking off on March 9th in Congress, Arizona, the 2014 Dirt Riot season is well under way. One of the teams already moving up the ranks is the #4493 LetzRoll team out of Mesa, Arizona, headed up by Andrew McLaughlin and Matt Salyers. And based on the video above, we know exactly why they’re quickly moving to the top.
But this video is not your typical “dash cam” footage. It also features a look back at both the driver and co-driver through in-cab footage, as well as lets you in on exclusive race audio (including McLaughlin’s true feelings about other rigs that stay in his way) from the competition. Truly, this is the closest you’ll get to riding in a winning Dirt Riot race rig without actually piloting or co-driving one yourself.
The LetzRoll crew is doing amazing so far, but the season has just begun. The next race for the pair and its competition is at Tucson, Arizona’s MC Motorsports Park on April 5th and then in Cortez, Colorado on August 19th.
Congratulations goes out to the #4493 team for its season-opener win, and we’ll be watching to see how well they do the rest of the season.
