From time to time we love to bring you quick highlights from the Southern Rock Racing Series (SRRS). But today we are happy to be able to show you nearly 20 minutes of footage from the SRRS finale at Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Taking place on October 11th, 21 competitors arrived at Hot Springs to close out the year. Coming into the finale, Tim Cameron held a small 14 point lead over Shawn Tolson. However, Tolson arrived at Hot Springs on his A-game.

Tolson finished second overall on the first run of the day to score 46 points, while Cameron could only post the eighth best time to capture 35 points. Cameron’s lead was down to only three points after the first run. Tolson backed up his impressive run by posting the fastest time during the second run and by capturing 50 points. Cameron once again could only post the seventh fastest time and would end up missing out on the SRRS championship by a mere four points.

Needless to say, it was an exciting day of rock racing that our friends at MadRam11 were nice enough to put together and post for us to watch. The video is a great example of why we can’t get enough from the Southern Rock Racing Series.

2015 can’t get here fast enough!
