We are less than a week away from the big game, or the best commercials depending on what way you look at it. Honda has released their full commercial for the all-new 2017 Honda Ridgeline.
The commercial shows off some of Honda’s innovative features on their newly redesigned pickup. Some features that people could argue that are pretty unique in the truck market.
“Great Super Bowl spots are entertaining for the fans while communicating an essential value of the product, and we believe our Honda Ridgeline commercial accomplishes both objectives in dramatic fashion,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Automobile Division. “With so many truck buyers passionate about football, the big game is the perfect setting to introduce the all-new Ridgeline, and the distinctive features that make it the ultimate tailgating vehicle.”
The sheep in the video throw of the scope of the commercial in the beginning, but it leads way to showing is the unconventional tailgate. The tailgate in the video is shown dropping down like other trucks, but in another angle it shows that it also swings open.
One of the features shown in the video that we like the most is the truck bed audio. This is definitely one feature that will pay off at parking lot tailgates and camping. The video also shows the in-bed storage trunk.
The all-new 2017 Ridgeline television spot marks the Honda brand’s first official Super Bowl commercial since 2014 and Super Bowl 48’s “Hugfest,” promoting safety and generating significant social engagement during and after the big game.
Is this the right way to show off the features of the new truck? Do the features shown in the commercial make this truck something that begs to be bought? Tell us in the comments below!
