With just a quick browse through Offroad Xtreme, you’ll easily see there are multiple ways to enjoy our great sport. Wicked desert race trucks, rock crawlers, and sky-high lifted street trucks that can still smash a little dirt are just a sampling.

Our beloved off road golden boy, BJ Baldwin, fully embraces the dirt lifestyle. Together with the help of Toyo Tires, Baldwin brought together two of the many styles of off roading. With the magic of editing in the video above, Baldwin and his nearly scratch-built pre-runner Blazer square off against himself in a late model Toyota Tundra that has been jacked up and decked to the nines with many off road goodies.

The Blazer, affectionately known as Loki, is a heavily prepped near-race truck that destroys the desert track for Baldwin to prepare for upcoming SCORE International races. Purpose built from the ground up, Loki is one mean truck. The white Toyota started off as a regular truck on an assembly line. The OE independent front suspension was kept but expanded to allow for a much larger tire. Aftermarket bumpers were added front and rear along with many other goodies added in. All these attributes make for a clean street truck with great road manners.

Both of these trucks are running Toyo Open Country R/T tires, which is essentially the point of the dramatic video. Other than the tires and the driver, they don’t have a whole lot in common. So which truck do you want?
