The qualifying session features an expanded line up of nine different classes. This includes Trick Truck, 1500, 1000, 6100, 6200 & 7200, UTV Pro Turbo, Open Pro M/C. For the first time ever, UTV Pro Turbo, Open Pro M/C. are being included.

Taking place on an all-new five-and-a-half-mile course just outside of Las Vegas, Qualifying will be a promising true test for all competitors. A full seven hours of live coverage will be provided via static and drone cameras located at key points along the course. Special features and background stories on off-road racing will fill in gaps between racing classes.

Best In The Desert’s Marketing Manager Scot Harden shared with Off Road Xtreme why this is so a significant move for desert racing. “At the top, this this year is the 25th anniversary of Vegas To Reno. Known as the largest single day desert race in the United States, Vegas To Reno was just voted as the seventh best motorsports race in a reader’s poll, topping at the Daytona 500 and the Mint 400. That is huge by itself. ”

Hardin continued, “What we are most excited about is that this is the first time BITD will have a fully produced live television show broadcasted and live streamed. All of the top classes of each category will be going for it trying to achieve the top starting positions of this very important race. Well over 100 vehicles will be competing, and it will be on an all new course which will be very interesting. This is a significant moment for Best In The Desert and the sport itself.”
