Turning vintage 4×4 vehicles into clean restomod machines has become a red-hot pastime for many Americans, with modified versions of the classic Ford Bronco fanning this flame. But to be honest, who doesn’t love seeing old school body lines blended with modern performance perks?
The team over at Brand New Muscle Car (BNMC) gets it, and as their most recent YouTube upload illustrates, customers are clamoring for restomod projects like never before. Now complete, this 1st Gen Ford Bronco has seen a ton of work over the course of the past few months. Powered by a modern Ford Coyote engine, this Bronco received a hefty amount of cutting and chassis fabrication so that the V8 could fit within the classic Bronco body.

The TREMEC TR-4050 5-Speed clears the 1st-Gen Bronco floor pan and firewall perfectly once modified with a custom Silver Sport Transmission bell housing.
It was tight, but the guys at BNMC were eventually able to make the motor fit, and with the V8 came the latest offering from Silver Sport Transmission: The TREMEC TR-4050 5-Speed. As one of the fastest-growing transmission specialists in the country, Silver Sport Transmission has earned a name for itself for being a premier TREMEC distributor, as well as a solution center for those looking to stuff modern engines into older automobiles.
BNMC chose the TREMEC TR-4050 for their Bronco project not only due to its versatility but because Silver Sport Transmission agreed to create a one-off bell housing so that everything would bolt-up and clear the SUV’s modded firewall and floor pan. It was also selected due to its 10-year, 150,000-mile validation cycle, and ability to be paired with a wide array of products from the brand.
