With the SEMA show in full swing, we stopped by the incredibly busy Hellwig Products booth to see what products they were unveiling and talk to Hellwig’s Vice President, Melanie White about what’s to come in 2015 and beyond.

There was a lot of buzz surrounding the 2015 F150, and as we had hoped, Hellwig was right there with the industry’s finest offering solutions to the all new platform. White explained, “For the 2015 F150 we’re super excited about our one and a half-inch 4140 steel front bar and we are working on releasing the rear bar soon which will greatly help sway control.”

Since there is a large percentage of heavy-duty truck owners that lift their trucks and still expect to be able to tow sizable trailers, Hellwig developed a solution to this problem with their new lineup of spacers. White continued, “We have a new lineup of lift spacers for owners of airbag-equipped trucks that decide to lift the rear end of their truck. There needs to be something to take up that extra room between the airbag and the bracket that is created by the lift, so our spacers fit right in to make the airbags functional again.”

Continuing with their airbag offering, Hellwig introduced their largest-in-class Big Wig air springs and Big Wig sway bar for the 2014 Ram 2500 that work in conjunction with the factory springs. “For 2014 Ram 2500s, we have our great selling 2,800-pound air bags that offer up to 14-inches of travel and our new Big Wig rear sway bar. The airbags have a maximum rating of 60 psi and serve as an effective way to help support the load of a heavy trailer.”

For the classic Chevy Blazer crowd, White was happy to introduce a new lift shackle and said, “We now offer a lift shackle for 1973-1987 Chevy Blazers that uses the factory leaf springs, offers four to six inches of lift, and serves as an affordable option for those looking to lift their truck.”
