From now until March 31st, 2019, AmericanTrucks and RAXIOM, an industry leader in aftermarket lighting, is giving you the chance to win a $5,000.00 shopping spree.

Truck enthusiasts know that RAXIOM prides itself on providing its customers with the highest quality off-road and auxiliary lighting in the business. But what makes this contest so unique is that even though RAXIOM is known primarily as an automotive lighting company, the winner of this sweepstakes can use this money sitewide!

The grand prize winner will be able to choose from any of the categories on the AmericanTrucks site including accessories, bumpers, lift kits, aftermarket exhausts, and more.

We spent some time this week exploring the AmericanTrucks site to see just how easy it is to upgrade a new F-150 if we had a $5K budget to spend. The vehicle we chose was a 2019 Ford F-150 XLT pickup in the crew cab configuration.

On the official Ford build and price website we upgraded to the FX4 off-road package with the 5.0L engine, which comes standard with the 10-speed transmission.

The total cost of the truck on the build and price website came in at just over $48,000. We then explored AmercianTrucks website and went to work on our build.

Our list of upgrades came out to $4,986.95, which was just under the $5K limit. Of course, we came up with this build on the fly, and we are sure that you would have a lot more time to choose exactly what you would like to spend the money on for your next build if you took home the top prize. But if you take a look at our mock build sheet, you are getting an impressive list of upgrades for that amount of money.
