The problem with many aftermarket wheels is you can’t change how they look once they’re installed on your truck. Sure, you can take the wheels off and have them painted a different color, but you can’t give them an entirely different look. Fab Fours sets itself apart with the 24-inch wheel by offering wheel rings which alter the look of the wheel. They offer twelve different wheel rings, all with unique styling.

Although the rings are generally used for just aesthetic reasons, they also offer a second purpose: a jacking point for your hi-lift jack. In this video, the Fab Fours guys are out in a JK hitting some mud and have two tires debead at the same time. Instead of putting the hi-lift jack on the bumper or sliders and dealing with the suspension drooping down, they just jacked the rig up from the wheel ring. Jacking from the wheel made it much easier to get the wheel in the air so they could put air in the tire and reseal the bead.

As you could probably tell from the video, using a hi-lift jack in deep mud is quite a challenge. A standard wheel could not deal with the stress of being used a jack point, but for the beefy wheel rings on Fab Fours’s wheel, it’s not a problem. The space between the ring and the tire is big enough to let water and mud out, reducing the risk of harsh vibrations from an unbalanced wheel.
