For the second time, Holley was involved as a major sponsor with the Crawl Readers Ride South, and as we see in the video above, southeastern 4×4 enthusiasts gathered at Wooly’s Off Road Park, a 600-acre private playground near Lynnville, Tennessee, to engage in their two favorite off-road sports: trail riding and rock bouncing.
The event was well attended and large numbers of highly modified 4x4s were common. Some were built from stock vehicles, while others were purpose-built rigs that are mostly tube-structures similar to race cars. A number of vehicles are seen making there way up the $1000 Bounty Hill Climb, including some in-car footage from Bobby Tanner’s awesome “truggy” tube-cage car.

Bree Molitor has been rock bouncing for about a year now. She got involved in rock bouncing as a hobby with her Dad, who has been a pro rock racing competitor for many years.
Twelve-year old Isaac is interviewed about his Dad’s truck, and he talks about the fact that he has been four-wheeling all of his life and what he likes most about it is getting muddy. He mentions his two other brothers, and that his older brother doesn’t really like four-wheeling, but that it’s because, “He just ain’t been kicked in the head by a piece of mud yet.”
Rock bouncer Bree Molitor from Tennesee is also interviewed. She is 22 years old and has been involved in the sport for about a year. Bree got into the sport because it’s a great way to kind of hang with the guys, give them a little competition, meet nice people, go four wheeling and run some trails. Bree started racing with her Dad, who has been competing for years. They also run in the Southern Rock Racing Series.
Most of the fastest and more powerful vehicles are outfitted with 44-inch mud-terrain tires and fuel-injected V-8 engines. Much of the action in the video is wild, and many of the rigs practically jump and fly over the obstacles as they rip and claw their way up the Bounty Hill Climb.
It’s no wonder Holley decided to get in on the growing and exciting new sport of rock bouncing!
