We have all been there, standing at the dealership, ready to drop six figures on the world’s quickest, fastest most powerful pickup. Only to find out, it doesn’t come in yellow. Well don’t worry, the heads at Stellantis have solved this age-old struggle with the release of the Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition.
In all seriousness, whether you’re in the Raptor camp or part of the Mopar crowd, no one can deny the TRX’s appeal. Ridiculous power, bold styling, Bilstein’s Blackhawk e2 Shock Absorbers, and over a foot of suspension travel all make the RAM TRX a true beast. With amazing capabilities both on and off the road, the TRX is a serious truck. Pouring on more options is always a welcome thing and we at Offroad Xtreme are excited to see the TRX family expand. We really liked what they did with the TRX Sand Blast Edition, now join us as we take a closer look at the new Havoc Edition that was just added to the lineup.
TRX Havoc Edition: Outside
The Havoc exterior takes the TRX’s bold styling up a notch with a few changes over the other models. The Baja Yellow paint is the most obvious. That bright yellow is accented with the TRX black graphics included in the package. Keeping with the two-toned theme is Dodge’s all-black bead-lock capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac® tires.
Also included is a Mopar spray in bed liner and cargo tie-down rails as part of the package. Up top, the standard TRX solid roof is swapped out for a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. That Sunroof opens up the already spacious interior which also houses a few more Havoc edition goodies.
TRX Havoc Edition: Inside
The interior of the Havoc continues with the black and yellow scheme. The stitching is all color matched to the Baja Yellow paint as well as the TRX logos in the truck’s heads-up display. Carbon fiber is also used as the accent material of choice around the cab. Some of which are featured on the signature TRX flat-bottom steering wheel. Like previous TRX special editions, the Havoc will include a numbered plate on the center console.
The Havoc Edition also comes equipped with the RAM TRX “Level 2 Options” package which simply means fully loaded. That said, you get a ton of tech and safety features as you would expect from a modern high-end “super truck“. On top of the tech stuff, the truck is packed with in-the-cab luxuries such as fully heated leather seats, leather grab bars, and accented door panels. Overall, the Havoc is a great mix of sport and luxury everywhere in the cab.
In all, the Havoc is an awesome way to customize the TRX and make it your own. You can expect to see availability in early 2023. The production run for the Havoc edition will be limited. So, much like the Ignition and Sand Blast, you may have to act fast if you want one. With an MSRP of $104,550, the Havoc comes in under what you would pay for a similarly equipped Raptor R.
