BJ Baldwin is a world-famous off-road racer who has won multiple championships and multiple Baja 1000 races. Just recently he started a YouTube series with Monster Energy. In the first episode of BJ Baldwin’s new YouTube series, he visited a bull riding ranch to really get a taste of the world’s toughest sport. In this episode, he visits an off-road park with his 650 horsepower Tundra TRD Pro prerunner and decides to take it rock crawling.
The day started with a mandatory bathroom break while traveling through Texas. BJ’s friend “Slinger” had a slight incident with the public bathroom and solved it with a tree branch. After that BJ and his friends decided to take a dip in the extremely cold river near the public bathroom. Supposedly the water was 35 degrees Fahrenheit and they definitely made it sound like the water was extremely cold.
Having some fun is the name of the game!
After taking a dip in the river, BJ and his friends headed to Jones Jeeps Hidden Falls Adventure Park, a nearby off-road park. He mentions of the noise of hitting a rock with your frame, bumper, or side rails always make him think he broke his truck (presumably his Trophy Truck). He then decided to rock crawl in his Tundra TRD Pro prerunner.
The first initial attempt of climbing the obstacle he realized the truck was extremely low on fuel and was actually fuel starving the engine. After putting some gas in the truck they gave the obstacle a few more attempts and were able to get up it. It’s pretty strange seeing such a large prerunner crawl up something that a Jeep would be suited for.
After all the rock crawling BJ and his friends sat in the bed of the truck and enjoyed the view.
