We have a soft corner for trophy trucks, especially when they are floating over motocross tracks at high speeds. Usually, you only need a single motor to power one of these high-performance off-roaders, but back in 2020, the team at Geiser Brothers radically upped the ante.

Right before the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, this Phoenix, Arizona-based custom car outfit unveiled a twin-engine trophy truck that premiered on the Trophy Burro YouTube channel. The team at Geiser Brothers decided to power the truck using a pair of LS3 motors, both of which get independent drivetrains, and make this off-roading contraption an absolute beast.

The motor at the front powers the rear wheels and the front axle is propelled by the second rear-mounted engine. The power output of each engine is rated at 525 HP, which also gets a four-wheel-drive setup (obviously). The twin-engine trophy truck runs a Borla Exhaust System, and Geiser Brothers used a clever computer system to sync the two powertrains.

Thanks to this setup, the driver can also detune the motors and augment the drive type of the truck. At full power, this dual LS3 setup churns out over 1000 horsepower at the wheel. The truck runs a 4-link live axle suspension setup at the rear and an independent A-arm suspension at the front. Equipped with its unique powertrain, this twin-motor truck managed to earn a few accolades, and back in 2019, it won the grueling Baja 1000 championship in the SCORE-International Trophy Trucks Legends class.
