Even in its factory tune, the Toyota 4Runner offers impressive off-road capability, but that wasn’t enough for this particular owner. The car seen here was recently sold for $54,500 and comes equipped with a slew of overlanding upgrades. The off-roader started life as a 2017 model year 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium, and Toyota of Orange in California sold the vehicle.
Under the hood of this slick silver metallic truck sits a Magnuson supercharged 4-liter V6 motor which sends power to all four wheels via a 5-speed automatic gearbox and a dual-range transfer case. The owner installed a lift kit that allows the truck to ride on adjustable King shocks.
The upper and lower control arms were sourced from Dirt King Fabrication, and an Old Man Emu spring set up ensures that this off-roader can take on even the most challenging terrains. This Toyota 4Runner rides on a set of 18-inch Volk Racing wheels which are wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain T/A KO2 tires.
A Pelfreybilt aluminum bumper dominates the front end, which features an integrated Warn winch. Inside the cabin, we find Black graphite upholstery. The cabin also gets amenities like a refrigerator and a stovetop. At the rear, we find a steel bumper sourced from Expedition One and a swing-away carrier for the spare wheel.
ARB Safari snorkel, 20-gallon water tank with heater, and a full-length roof rack complete this over landing ensemble. However, the LOL SNOW license plate is most definitely the pièce de résistance of this Toyota 4Runner.
