Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) has consistently redefined braking solutions for every type of vehicle and driving need since their inception. They have been known for many years as the best brake rotor manufacturer in Australia and, now, are well on the way to earning that title in the United States.

“We’ve been doing rotors for years, since the 70s, but we’ve never had accompanying pads. We finally decided it was time for us to offer a pad option as well,” said Yoni Kellman of Disc Brakes Australia. DBA offers four different rotors and has decided to release four new high-performance brake pads to go along with these top-of-the-line products. Yoni claims they tried to “make it as simple as possible” by offering a street performance pad called the SP500, a SUV pad (SD610), a track pad (XP650), and a racing pad (XP735) to be paired with their street rotor, four-wheel-drive rotor, 2-piece performance rotor, and specially heat-treated race rotor.

Each rotor and pad are made specifically for a driving style and application– as the SUV pad is great for trucks with oversized wheels/tires or towing and the track pad is great for the performance driving enthusiast that daily drives his car but also takes part in the occasional track day.

Yoni also claims they will be ahead of the rest of the competition, as the EPA will soon be banning copper in brake pads, and DBA’s are already being developed copper-free.
