We recently reported on Terra Crews’ Takeover of the LACR MX for the Hell Track event, which offered an action-packed off-road spectacle, as modified trucks faced off against one of the most intimidating motocross tracks in the country. The group of enthusiast followed up Hell Track with the Terra Crew Takeover of LS Fest West 2021. The event is sponsored by the Holley Performance Group, and the high-flying performance pickup trucks are one of the main attractions.
Since LS Fest West is an event for fans of General Motors’ lauded small block motor, the boys from Terra Crew turn up to the gathering with their LS-equipped off-roaders. The Terra Crew Team also managed to get the dirt track all to themselves, and what followed can best be described as dirt-engulfed off-road madness.
The team descended on the track around 7 PM for the first session, which was held in the dark, and arena lights were used to illuminate the track. Ewan Walsh from the Terra Crew revealed that he prefers evening sessions as it offers better lighting for the videographers and photographers. Well, Walsh wasn’t wrong because watching these race-tuned trucks glide and fly over the dirt track was a sight to behold.
Terra Takeover goes full send at LS FEST West 2021 – PART 2
The participants hit the track two at a time, and almost immediately the Las Vegas Motor Speedway came alive to the sound of high-revving LS motors. The night session offered some dynamics shots as the LS-powered trucks and buggies floated over the dirt track.
The craziness began on Friday, and continued on throughout the weekend. Fans had the opportunity to make their way to the pit stop, which is aptly called Dirt Town, to check out these awesome machines resting between laps. If you ever have the chance to attend any LS Fest event (there is another event, LS FEST EAST held in Kentucky, it is highly recommended!
