We love to watch trucks and off-road rigs catch some air, as long as it is done in a safe and controlled environment without recklessly causing damage to the surroundings. So it stands to reason that we were captivated by the recent videos showcasing the Terra Crew Takeover posted on their YouTube channel.
The two-part series chronicles Hell Track, which was hosted by James Holguin (Terra Crew) and Evan Walsh (Black Hat Studios). The event was held at LACR MX and comprised of three classes. The first video offers detailed and exciting coverage of the BRORUNNER class, which Mostly features V6 powered, leaf spring-enabled trucks.
If you are not familiar with Terra Crew, officially it is a lifestyle apparel brand that sells merchandise online and at local events. Underneath, it is a group of close knit friends and family, who enjoy the off-road lifestyle perhaps a bit more then most. The Terra Crew puts out many videos reaching a huge audience through their Instagram & Youtube social channels.
The second video mainly covers Wannabe TT (Trophy Trucks), which includes 1450 and 6100 trucks. We also get to see some buggy action in Part 2, courtesy of the Buggy Dork class. Overall the two videos offer more than 20 minutes of exciting off-road action, and we get to marvel as these modified off-roaders take on one of the most intimidating motocross tracks in the country.

Contrary to how easy these trucks make it seem, Hell Track was quite a challenge, and some of the lifts on the dirt track had to be cut down, to make them more “truck-friendly”. It is also worth noting that this was Terra Crews’ first outing at the LACR MX, and the team more than delivered on their part.
The videos feature some exciting jumps and more importantly, some frighteningly close calls. Thanks to diligent planning and proper safety precautions, nobody sustained any injuries, however, the same cannot be said about the rides.
