This weekend, the Red Bull Sand Scramble is coming to the Imperial Sand Dunes of Glamis, California. Red Bull has organized a premiere event that will pit upwards of 125 side-by-side UTV racers in frenzied door-to-door motorsport competition. All are invited to attend with classes for Amateur and Professional racers. Registration is open now and closes on Friday, December 10. Racing is on Saturday December 11.  

Known as the “Sand Toy Capital of the World” Glamis is a famous destination for off-road recreation and sand dunning. This event is sure to draw a massive live audience due to the thousands of enthusiastic on site for a weekend of recreational dunning. Spectating is free and open to the public.

The event features two competitive classes, the SXS Pro for more experienced racers and SXS Sportsman for amateur off-road enthusiasts. Class Rules, race registration, and more information can be found out RedBullSandScramble.com

There will be five heats of racing (3 laps each), a LCQ (3 laps), and a final 5 lap main event race. 

Red Bull Sand Scramble Race Format: 

The Event consists of a one race for each Division on an approximate 2-mile loop with a required number of laps. The top three (3) fastest times to complete the required number of laps in each Division, as verified by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be the first, second, and third place winners.
