While cruising YouTube looking for good off-road action, we found this fabulous compilation of off-road racing video put together in 2010 by BFGoodrich as a way to celebrate 35 years of its involvement in SCORE off-road racing.

It was shot in a celebratory style with a stirring instrumental soundtrack and amazing footage of high-performance machinery hurdling across the desert. The video shows high-horsepower Trophy Trucks and buggies blasting along, and it gave us a nostalgic look at BFGoodrich’s rich history in the SCORE desert racing series. The company had been incredibly successful during the 35 years leading up that time and continues to do so by spending countless hours developing new tire technology.

SCORE Baja Champion Rob MacCachren had this to say in the video: “BFGoodrich is constantly testing, developing and improving its tires race after race, which gives us a better tire to race and win on.”

At the time of the video production, BFGoodrich had produced 23 different SCORE Baja 1000 Champions and 26 Score Baja 500 Champions. Among them are off road legends Rob MacCachren, Andy McMillin, Larry Roeseler, Roger Norman, Ronnie and Randy Wilson. BFGoodrich has and still does play a large part in writing the history of SCORE desert racing by developing tires that create champions, and a racing legacy that inspires a new generation of racers.
