Off-road racing is an extreme sport, but at the annual RBD (RickyB’Day) event held at Morris Mountain ORV Park in Delta, Alabama, it’s an unconventional form of competition that takes the cake. Just check out the video from MadRam11 above to see what we mean.

Started as an invitation-only birthday event for Ricky Berry of Ricky B Photography, RBD has grown to be one of the biggest off-road events in the Southeast. Last year, over 1,000 enthusiasts brought out their off-road vehicles to participate in the weekend-long event, which mixes trail rides with a competitive “run what ya brung” hill climb and much more.
As part of the weekend celebration, participants can also participate in Extreme Barbie Jeep Racing, where grown men and women hop on children’s Power Wheel-type Jeeps and race down a muddy hill for ultimate bragging rights.
As you can see in the video above, the competition can get quite crazy and brutal when plastic Jeeps start colliding, spinning and flipping over with grown adults trying to hang on.
Off-road enthusiasts put a lot of time and money into building their rigs, so Extreme Barbie Jeep Racing is a lighthearted way to have some fun that speaks to the inner child in all of us without worrying about breaking thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Hell, by the looks of most of the Jeeps in this competition, they’ve been well used for many many years.
