As an avid fan of most forms of motorsports racing, I have never in my life seen the amount of hype around a single event quite like the buzz surrounding the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix. And of course, Red Bull Racing is leading the promotional charge. They just launched their latest Road Trip video called F1 Car on Las Vegas Roof?! | ¡Vamos, Vegas!.
Formula 1 has not raced in Las Vegas since 1982 and there were only two races before the idea was concepted of having another in this current age. In the lead-up to the modern version of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, even before the construction of the track and venue began, Red Bull got creative with this hype-up project. The humorous scenario depicts a dialogue recounting one wild night getting lit in Las Vegas.

A cast of iconic Las Vegas characters, including Elvis impersonators, showgirls, magician Mat Franco, the iconic Blue Man Group and Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton all make an appearance.
Besides highlighting all the usual Las Vegas scenes, landscapes, and characters, they tapped Las Vegas local and six-time off-road champion, Bryce Menzies. Starring alongside Mexican racing sensation Sergio “Checo” Pérez, and Red Bull Racing CEO Christian Horner, Menzies and his Red Bull #7 Trophy Truck play a big role.
Red Bull’s Bryce Menzies And Sergio Pérez Gambling With Horsepower
Menzies and Checo meet at the Roulette table to throw down some chips. The betting escalates and soon the Red Bull racers are gambling with the race vehicles. Menzies goes all in with his Mason Motorsports-built Red Bull Trophy Truck against Checo’s RB7 F1 car. They race out of the valet and rendezvous in the desert for some wheel-to-wheel competition.
In a classic flag drop competition, the two machines appear evenly matched. Obviously at home off-road, Bryce seems to outdrive the F1 car with his 1,000 horsepower all-wheel-drive trophy truck. At the checkered flag, it was a photo finish that distinguished Checo as the winner. The F1 car returned back to the Las Vegas strip for more late-night antics that left Checo in a daze.
Sergio has to recount his dirty deeds to his boss mass and Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner.
Red Bull Is Hyped Up And Looking Forward To The Las Vegas Grand Prix
“There is a lot of anticipation around the Las Vegas Grand Prix,” Christian Horner. “It is one we are all very excited for. A Saturday night race down the strip is going to be an amazing spectacle, and it speaks to the fun vibe this new race will bring. Filming the light-hearted ¡Vamos, Vegas! with Checo was the perfect way for us to prepare for what’s to come in November.”
If you intend to be a part of the Las Vegas Grand Pris festivities, consider accessing the trackside activations, custom hospitality options, and multiple consumer experiences put in place by Red Bull.
