It has been said that “those who do not learn from the past are condemned to repeat it”. As it turns out, this was especially true for Mike Holt, who runs the controversial YouTube channel Street Speed 717. Last month, we reported on Mike’s controversial jump that resulted in him being charged with 18 counts of violations by Pennsylvania FBC.
The YouTuber has now uploaded another episode in which he jumps a Lamborghini Urus over a dirt ramp. Holt was so confident about his calculations that he even parked his Aventador in the gap. The Lamborghini Urus is a very capable super SUV, and the introduction of Urus has worked out for Lamborghini, as the Italian car manufacturer recently announced impressive sales figures for 2020.
The growing popularity of SUVs, crossovers, and pickup trucks is the reason behind the success of offerings like Lamborghini Urus and Dodge TRX. This is also the reason why Holt’s TRX jump offended many Hemi fans who are impatiently awaiting the arrival of their lauded super truck.
Lamborghini Urus Jumps Lamborghini Aventador
Fortunately, Lamborghini Urus managed to successfully clear the Aventador during the YouTuber’s most recent stunt. As expected, Holt decided to push his luck a tad too far and proved that it is all fun and games until something goes wrong. After successfully jumping a first-generation Toyota RAV4 over a Subaru wagon, the YouTuber decides to swap vehicles and reattempt the stunt.
Unfortunately, this time around, the wagon lands a little too hard and incurs substantial damage. During his latest outing, Holt informed his viewers that all stunts were shot and executed in a controlled environment, by what he claims are “sort of professionals”.
