Off-road vehicles have plenty of accessories, but how they get controlled can be an owners nightmare. The folks over at ARB have created a new way to control everything in a simple and sleek product.
ARB released the Linx system to help control different accessories. “The Linx systems helps control all the accessories we have been building for four-wheel drives over the years,” Daniel Bongard explained. “From air compressors, air lockers to lights it can all be controlled off one touchscreen interface.”
The Linx system is connected to the ARB ECU via a USB Cable or Bluetooth. The Bluetooth capability allows you to use the display as a wireless remote.
The Linx system includes the display, gimbal mount, and ECU making install a breeze. “The interface communicates with an ECU where all the wires are run to,” Bongard continued. “The ECU and display are connected via USB cord or via Bluetooth.”
One feature that really caught our attention is the ability to set a pressure above or below what is in the tires, connect a hose from your compressor, and the Linx system would inflate or deflate to that desired pressure. This sensor and system are able to control up to four airbags or air springs on a vehicle.
In the booth vehicle, the ECU was mounted under the rear seat in close proximity to the air compressor.
The entire Linx system is set to be available by early 2018. Find out more on ARB’s website, and stay tuned for more SEMA coverage.
