Ford Performance’s 2017 F-150 Raptor is an impressive machine built to exceed the standard set by its predecessor. The latest truck was built lighter, faster and more capable in every way. One upgrade to the new truck is the addition a true dual exhaust system detailed in a new promo video.
“To churn out 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, its twin turbos need to breathe,” says the voiceover. “That means an exhaust system that can deliver more power and redefine the sound of off-road performance.”

To achieve its performance potential, the 2017 F-150 Raptor received a true dual exhaust system, which is detailed in a new promo video.
Making the 3.5-liter EcoBoost truck perform to enthusiast expectations and carry a performance sound was definitely a challenge.
“Ford Performance engineers use the latest high-performance exhaust designs and high-tech equipment, but when you’ve got one of the coolest performance shops in the industry, you like to get your hands dirty and get down to business. That’s where the Raptor’s first-ever full, dual exhaust began to take shape,” it continues.
The video goes on to give a glimpse at the testing designed to prove out the new Ford Performance’s truck’s capabilities on both the chassis dyno and in the desert, which just makes us want to drive a new Raptor all the more, so the video definitely worked.
