Just like having a classic car, off-road vehicle owners like to go out and drive their vehicle. Pennzoil just released its latest addition to the Joyride series aimed towards our off-road hearts.
This video takes a beefed up 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and shows us exactly what it can do in the desert. This bright yellow Jeep is almost as hot as the desert sun, even with temperatures reaching 130 degrees F the Jeep looked as cool as the other side of the pillow.
Professional driver Rhys Millen headed to a restricted area, down through a tunnel to uncover this Trail Rated machine. The first action shot of the Jeep shows it breaching the sand as if it was a dolphin jumping out of the water.
Millen takes the Jeep through the extreme conditions of the Baja desert in Mexico. He takes the vehicle across salt flats, sand dunes, and propels the four-wheel-drive vehicle up rocky mountain slopes showing what the vehicle is capable of.
With as hot as the desert can get, Millen looks to be testing the temperatures of the engine. The Jeep was using Pennzoil’s synthetic motor oil during the whole run.
This is the perfect video to watch going into the weekend. It makes us want to get behind the wheel of our off-road rig and enjoy just a fraction of the fun that Millen displayed in the video. Where do you plan on going this weekend?
