Many motocross riders are making the switch over from two wheels to four wheels. As the saying, “With age, comes a cage,” holds true for many former riders.
Brian Deegan, Jeremy Stenberg, Ronnie Fiasst, and Jeremy McGrath have all made the switch to four wheels and a cage. They all race in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, in the Pro 2, Pro 4 or Pro Lite class.
This video shows Ronnie Renner a seven time Xgames FMX gold medal winner taking on the Glamis Sand Dunes in California. He is driving a highly modified 2015 big bore Polaris RZR XP 1000 which was built by SDR Motorsports out of Corona, California.
The RZR features Twisted Stitch Seats, Muzzy’s Performance Exhaust, Fox Racing Shocks, GoPro cameras, Method Race Wheels, Sand Tires Unlimited wheels/tires from Fullerton Sand Sports, Rigid Industries LED light bar, and SSV Works sound system.
Going up and over the dunes in this RZR is no problem, catching air at the top of everyone. The Red Bull wrap on the side match his sponsor from motocross. With no gold medals at the 2015 Xgames, and now at the age of 38, the cage may come sooner than he would like.
Will Ronnie Renner give up his motocross career and hit the cage. We can only sit back and wait to see what happens, but either way it is clear that he was out having a blast in the highly modified Polaris RZR XP 1000. What do you think he should do? Tell us in the comments below!
