With more torque and horsepower the continuously variable transmission (CVT) was designed with a quick response system to provide instant reaction and power transfer.

Dual exhaust will let people know what is coming, setting this vehicle apart from the rest of the market. The motor with its turbo are not the only thing new with this Can-Am.

As the terrain gets rough, the comfort of the rider comes into play. The Maverick X ds has an innovated rear suspension, with trailing arms. The Maverick is able to get 16 inches of suspension travel out of the rear of the vehicle since it is a compact five link setup.

All the technology in the world will not help the ride unless the shocks and springs are right up with it as well. The 2016 Maverick X ds turbo comes with industry exclusive Fox 2.5 Podium RC2 shocks, with dual-speed compression, dual-rate springs, rebound adjuster, and spring crossover.

The Can-Am Maverick X ds also has a tri-mode dynamic power steering (DPS) offers three levels of rider-adjustable steering assistance that can be adapted to match the terrain while also reducing kickback to the steering.The amount of assistance varies with the vehicle’s speed to adjust the steering input effort to a comfortable level.

The most enjoyable part of driving a Maverick may be the positive sensitive bottom out control, to flatten out bumps and landings on any terrain. Maxxis Tires and 14 inch beadlock wheels keep the vehicle moving forward and allowing traction on any surface.

The performance beadlock wheels use a mechanical fastening system that makes it nearly impossible for the tire bead to break loose from the wheel during heavy acceleration or cornering.
