When someone familiar to off road thinks of the name Walker Evans, they likely think of the racing legend himself as well as the high-quality wheels and shocks his company produces for trucks, UTVs, and the off road market as a whole. We stopped by their booth to speak with Cody Currie, Sales and Marketing for Walker Evans to see what was new for 2015.

First up were some new Jeep shocks that were so new, they cant even be found in their catalog or website! Currie added, “We have our new 2.5-inch shock for Jeep JKs that is a direct replacement and offers both high and low-end compression adjustments on the top of the shock for maximum customer adjustability.”

For the wheel market, they will still be producing the classic Walker Evans wheel we all know and love. Currie explained it best by saying, “There have been a lot of trends that come and go in the wheel market, but the Walker style has been a fixture in the off road community for 15-years and has served the test of time. In addition, we can custom machine any size fitment in-house for whatever bore or backspacing you have so they are readily available for any kind of off road vehicle.”  

With forged race wheels that feature real beadlocks and cast street wheels with faux-beadlocks, the Walker Evans team introduced their new style wheel. “We just put out our new design of cast street wheels that are distributed by Ultra Wheel Corporation called ‘the Legacy‘ which will be made in 16, 17, and 20-inch applications with custom powder coat,” Currie said. The new Legacy features a different design over the classic Walker Evans wheel that is sure to become recognizable in the near future.
