Mad Max And His Apocolyptic Rides Return In “Mad Max: Fury Road”

Wandering the lawless Outback Plains, Mad Max returns to the Silver Screen, in Mad Max: Fury Road. Haunted by his turbulent past, in the fourth installment of the franchise, Max becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an eilite Imperator, Furiosa.

Featuring some of the most insane apocalypse-mobiles, sick highly modified hot rods and other customized contraptions, this movie takes us back to the era of the 1970’s. A period full of great iconic car movies such as Bullitt, Smokey the Bandit, and the Italian Job.

In the original, Australian super-cop Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson) engages a devious motorcycle gang in a chase through a decrepit wasteland in pursuit of vengeance for the death of his son. Fury Road promises to provide just as many thrills, but with all of the new wonders that modern special effects and technology can provide.

Did we mention the cars? Max’s “Pursuit Special” 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT makes its triumphant return to the spotlight, alongside a cast of rusting post–apocalyptic rides, converted into vehicles of destruction. There might be some cool ideas for your next hot rod project, or world saving salvation machine.

In this glorious feature you will see lots of off road mayhem as well with a whole lot of angry guys, chicks, and explosions. If you are a fan of the original cult classic, Mad Max: Fury Road is sure to drive you mad with excitement before its release in May 2015.

With the new version, Mel Gibson does not reprise the role of Mad Max. In his place will be English actor Tom Hardy in the title role. South African actress Charlize Theron will also appear in the highly anticipated thriller. Feeding the adrenaline seekers addiction,  look for the new installment to take badass to a whole new level in a toxic way. Which one of these toxic rides would you hammer down across the open Australian Outback?

Growing up in Greenwood, Indiana a short distance from the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, my dad would take me to local car shows and events. Through this I gained my passion. Along with cars, I have always loved photography, writing, and graphic arts. However when attending college I did not pursue my passions. I played it safe and majored in business and marketing. After a few years in this field I determined this was not for me and began to pursue a writing and photography career. Landing me here with Power Automedia. I am also now the business owner of Bridgett's Toxic Creations. Specializing in automobile showboards, custom license plates, logos, and website headers. Living and breathing the Mustang life everyday in everyway. To be able to work in my field of passion is amazing and fun experience everyday. The best part is sharing a common passion with others.
