If you’re unfamiliar with the golf cart market, there is an incredible aftermarket for the application. From lift kits to radio setups to body kits that look like Mustangs, there’s something for every taste and budget. Leisure and pleasure alike, thousands of folks spend their hard earned coin buying and modifying these miniature vehicles. The latest and greatest in golf cart hoonery comes in the form of a Ford Raptor, miniaturized, of course.
The Palm Desert, California golf cart company known as Caddyshack recently inked a deal with Ford that will allow them to construct their very own version of the pickup truck that puts the rest to shame. The same company even put together a mini gt500 at one point in time.
The mini Raptor will feature an 18hp gas engine that will be able to travel over 80 miles on a single tank. An electric version that will obtain 30 miles to a charge will also be available. The Raptor will be governed to 19.9 MPH, but we’re sure you’ll figure out how to overcome that. Don’t hold us accountable when you do, though.
Ford hopes that the cart will be able to expand the brand as a whole along with raising recognition for the Raptor. Their wish is to be able to connect to the customer in different ways. It is expected that most buyers will have a 1:1 scale Raptor in their driveway or be Ford dealerships for use shuttling customers around.
